Your Core Responsibilities
- Mentor & Lead: Facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities and project-based learning based on program themes and educational goals.
- Ensure Safety: Provide constant supervision during classroom time and off-site field trips.
- Classroom Culture: Build a respectful, high-energy environment where every student feels welcome.
- Communication: Partner with teachers and keep parents updated on student progress.
- Administration: Maintain accurate attendance records and classroom organization.
Other Expectations:
- Must be able to facilitate Lessons Plans provided through the PN Education Team, with the option to adjust per student levels and your innovative adaption.
- Be available to attend agency and program professional development (PD) sessions.

- Maintain consistent availability Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. (Candidates must be able to commit to this full schedule.)
- Accompany groups on field trips and off-site activities.
- Assist with transitions, transportation procedures, and group coordination during trips.
- Maintain accurate attendance and headcounts throughout the day, including during transitions and trips.
- Assist with set-up and clean-up of program spaces and materials.
- Identify and report concerns regarding participant well-being or behavior.
What You’ll Need (Qualifications)
- Age: Must be 18+ by July 2, 2026.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required (Graduating seniors are welcome to apply with proof of graduation).
- Experience: At least one year of experience working with youth is a major plus!
- Attributes: High energy, professional communication skills, and a passion for community service.
Physical & Work Environment
- Must be comfortable standing/walking for long periods and lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Be ready for a mix of indoor classroom settings and outdoor summer activities.
- May be required to supervise aquatics activities (pool, water park, etc.).
