Description
  • Greets patients and identified their needs.
  • Verifies insurance information through managed care website.
  • Answers incoming calls and takes messages for providers.
  • Registers patients, assigned PCP (when applicable), checks demographic information, updates information as needed.
  • Schedules appointments and reschedules appointments.
  • Helps to maintain charts and provides administrative support to the department.  
  • High School Diploma required.  
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with clerical/administrative functions is required, ideally in a health care setting. 
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients.
  • Understanding of phone etiquette and standard office procedures.

Minimum $18.75 ($39,000 annually); Maximum $18.75 ($39,000 annually)

Applicants must be comfortable working onsite, based out of The Bronx and have availability to commit to a schedule of 40 hours per week, working Monday thru Friday 8am- 5pm with every other Saturday 8am- 5pm or Tuesday thru Saturday 8am-5pm.
