Description
The Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS) is an acclaimed human services organization and one of the nation’s largest providers of housing and social services. Utilizing the evidence-based practice of Individual Placement and Support (IPS), the Employment Specialist at Career Network will assist a caseload of individuals who are homeless, low-income, living with mental illness, or have other special needs in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment in the community. The Employment Specialist will provide a full range of person-centered services, both on-site and community based, including assessment-based treatment planning, counseling, job development, employment counseling, job coaching, entitlements counseling, and care-coordination. The Employment Specialist will be expected to support other program initiatives as needed including outreach, education, and resource development.
The Mental Health Clinician will receive weekly clinical supervision that meets the requirements for LCSW hours and will have access to all CUCS agency trainings.
