Description

Position Summary: The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and training to end users by providing support and technical issue resolution in person, via E-Mail, phone or remotely. He/She will be required to develop solutions for network, desktop, and server problems. He/She will analyze existing systems and make recommendations for improvements to the IT Director.

Responsibilities:

  •  Responsible to work with clients to evaluate and solve technical problems
  •  Train staff to ensure thy are able to competently use computer software and hardware
  •  Evaluate existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement the system changes
  •  Interact with clients on a daily basis to be able to see and understand their IT problems and provide competent solutions to these problems
  •  Ensure smooth and efficient running of all IT systems in the organization
  •  Keep employees informed on the various technological changes that are taking place in the organization
  •  Identify new computer systems and trends in the market
  •  Configure and support internal and/or external networks
  •  Monitoring, managing, troubleshooting and maximizing network performance
  •  Administer and maintain end user accounts, permission, and access rights
  •  Oversee the proper storage of all company data and archiving of records and back ups
  •  Maintain logs of completed work using an incident-tracking system
  •  Maintain inventory of all technology equipment
  •  Manage new users, user permissions and user removal on the domain
  •  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related degree or 2+ years of work related experience
  •  Ability to prioritize and successfully complete multiple tasks in a timely fashion
  •  Ability to take initiatives to help other staff operate more efficiently through technology
  •  Understanding of firewalls, routers, switches, and other network related devices
  •  Excellent analytical, quantitative skills
  •  Proven ability to handle multiple tasks effectively under pressure while successfully meeting critical deadlines
  •  Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and efficient
  •  Maturity, integrity, and sound judgment
