Description

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Case Management, Housing, Child Care, and Youth programs in a tier II family homeless shelter.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to the Case Management Supervisor the Childcare Coordinator and the Recreation Coordinator.
  • Serve as the supervisor for multiple Housing Specialists at the facility.
  • Provide clinical supervision to the LMSW Client Care Coordinators who will be working with the families in a therapeutic capacity.
  • Manage staff in the Early Childcare Education and After School Programs for children at the facility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work required.
  • LMSW required, or the ability to acquire license within 6-months of being hired.
  • Minimum of 2-years previous supervisory experience required.
  • Experience with quality assurance/improvement, performance measures and program evaluation preferred.
  • Working knowledge of resources for housing, children, domestic violence, mental illness, and substance abuse is a plus.
  • Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish language proficiency preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other standard business technology is required.

Salary: Approx. $72k annually
