Description

This program is seeking for someone 18 and older that can required a mission-oriented individual with strong organizational,
teamwork, and communications (both verbal and written) skills. Someone for individuals who are enthusiastic about being part of a high-impact, growing organization.

Position

  • Direct service manager to oversee employment
  • Business services for HOPE’s job training and transitional employment programs
  • Connect over 300 recent and returning program graduates into quality jobs based on the career pathway and classroom training
  • Monitors the labor market for hiring trends
  • Creates trusted partnerships with employers

Responsibilities

  • Staff Management – Someone that can motivate,encourage,show improvement, support the team and achieves HOPE’s strategic priorities
  • Program Management– Designing and implementing job training programs, developing partnerships with businesses, managing workforce development projects and coordinating employment services for job seekers
  • Business Development – Create job opportunites for job placement and economic prosperity with the community
  • Data Management – Ensure the team is on track, minimum services are being delivered and data is accurate and properly recorded

Education and Experience

Someone with at least three to five years of personnel and performance management. A bachelor’s degree and an advanced degree in public policy, social work, or relevant degree and/or a demonstrated interest

  • Experience managing multiple performance-based contracts
  • Field experience in workforce development or sales and marketing is preferred
  • Developing operational processes with developing outcome reports
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Ability to work in both the Bronx and Brooklyn offices
