Director of Asset Managment

The Director of Asset Management will oversee SHF’s portfolio of approximately 3,100 affordable residential units in 51 buildings in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn.

Responsibilities

• Improve reporting processes and establish review protocols to improve accountability
• Develop and implement project-level action plans to improve performance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complete multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines, and prioritize projects
• Take initiative, suggest new ideas, and move tasks forward.
• Collaborate closely with others. Needs to be an excellent communicator in person, by phone, and by email.

Experience

• At least 7-10 years of experience in asset management, property management, and/or real estate operations
• Familiarity with building systems and general property management
• Experience supervising staff
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis, including proficiency with Excel
• Preference for candidates with lived experience connected to SHF’s mission

Salary

The salary range is $85k – $100k, depending upon experience.
