Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice’s (YMPJ) philosophy is the idea that allies coming together can be greater than the sum of their parts, and achieve exponential impact to address shared challenges and goals. As a backbone organization, YMPJ draws on a deep well of experience leading, supporting, and managing collaborations between diverse groups and stakeholders. YMPJ is a trusted grassroots organization that has integrated community input into every facet of its programming and continuous improvement and they serve as a key resource in the community, advocating on its behalf and amplifying its voices to a myriad of local, city, and state system and community providers.
|Member Duties : Assist with the planning of the upcoming year long theme, goals, activities, and members’ needs, When applicable, assist with quarterly evaluations Work closely with the appropriate staff to coordinate program electives based on the themes, program goals, and members’ needs, Create a curriculum of activities and individual lesson plans which are age-appropriate and encourages leadership development, civic engagement and social and environmental responsibility Develop budget for supplies and services needed in order to efficiently carry out lesson plans Work with other staff to ensure that all work is based on common theme and program goals Assist with other electives or program activities, as needed.|
