Description

Position Summary: Maintains patient medical records in Hospice. Ensures accurate and timely filing into processing patient medical assistant. Enters data into the Hospice computer system.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required. Business School or some college preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of clerical experience in an office environment is required. One year of Medical Records experience is preferred.
  • Competency with computer software and peripherals is required.
  • Data entry experience is required. Type 30 WPM.
  • High level of customer services answering telephone and responding to telephone inquiries is required.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 coding is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
  • Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology is preferred.

Salary: $24.60/hr
