Procurement Card Administrator
Position Summary: The Department is seeking to hire a procurement professional to serve as the Procurement Card (P-Card) Administrator for the Agency. With up to forty-seven (47) P-card users agency-wide and annual P-card purchases upwards of $1.5 million, the P-Card Administrator will be responsible for managing the agency’s P-card program. The P-Card Administrator will exercise independent initiative, judgment, and decision-making in the management of the P-Card Program for the agency.
Conduct high-level analysis of P-Card spending/transactions and data and make appropriate recommendations to ACCO leadership as it relates to spending at the individual user, Division, or agency level. They will create and/or revise agency-wide P-Card training, correspondence, and other notifications.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that cardholders adhere to agency and City p-card policies
- Create and maintain comprehensive P-card files
- Liaise with DCAS citywide administrators
- Coordinate card requests, relinquishments, and special requests
- Orient new cardholders to proper procedures
- Monitor P-card transactions daily to ensure users’ compliance with agency and City p-card policies
- Contact cardholders with questions or issues regarding card usage and make appropriate recommendations
Qualifications:
- A master’s degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management; or in a related area. 18 months of this experience must have been in an executive, managerial, administrative, or supervisory capacity. Supervision must have included supervising staff performing professional work in the areas described above; or
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of professional experience in the areas described in “1” above, including 18 months of executive, managerial, administrative, or supervisory experience as described in “1” above.
- Experience in procurement of goods and services and knowledge of procurement rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate proficiently and clearly, both written and verbal, with all levels of staff

- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Intermediate to advance ability with Microsoft Office applications.
Salary: $84.5-90k annually
