Description

Responsiblities:

  • Establish and monitor quality assurance of program goals in compliance with agency and contract expectations
  • Report to, and meet with, supervisor on a weekly basis.
  • Complete and submit data reports weekly and short narrative reports monthly or more frequently as required.
  • Attend internal and external agency and funder meetings.
  • Maintain staff schedule and conduct monthly staff meetings or more frequently as required.
  • Supervise staff performance, providing monthly written feedback.
  • Provide staff training on program goals and duties as well as agency expectations.
  • Provide individual, group and community presentations as assigned by the Program / Asst Department Director.
  • Provide direct services to clients, including outreach, intake, benefit enrollment, referral, advocacy, and exit summaries.
  • Monitor and document client progress toward obtaining benefits.
  • Document all interactions with, or on behalf of, clients.
  • Maintain familiarity with program resources available on- and off-site.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Pass and maintain all training or certifications associated with the program.
  • Attend monthly Tenant association meetings.
  • Participate in community events and meetings.
  • Conduct outreach and enrollment.
  • Some meetings and conferences maybe required outside of NY
  • Evening and Weekend work hours maybe required.
  • Recruit businesses and individuals for program services.
  • Schedule appointments for services.
  • Seek out and coordinate community and outreach events for the program.
  • Maintain up to date with changes in benefits.
  • Must wear formal business attire at all times.
  • Enroll and keep all client records up to date.
  • Maintain all records confidentially.

Qualifications: 

  • Masters Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of one years’ experience in social services
  • Proficiency in modern business communications including personal computers, electronic mail, voicemail, facsimile, and copier equipment.

Salary: $65-65k annually
