Housekeeper

Overview

Hebrew Home at Riverdale is looking for a PT Housekeeper to join our dynamic team! The hours for the position are Saturday and Sunday 8:00am – 3:30pm, plus holidays. Hebrew Home at Riverdale is part of a group of long-term care affiliates under the brand name of RiverSpring Living. RiverSpring Living provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long-term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care.  Collectively, RiverSpring Living empowers over 18,000 patients, residents and members to live forward every day. 

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of cleaning duties throughout the Home. The work includes cleaning furniture, buffing, cleaning restrooms, bed making, furniture moving, use of spray buffing machines, shampooing machines, and a variety of other commonly used cleaning equipment.  Heavy lifting is required.

Qualifications

High School or GED; or related training or experience required. Must be able to read, write and effectively communicate in English. Ability to effectively present and receive information from residents, families and staff.
