Position Summary:

Working in our El Nuevo San Juan Community Health Center in the Bronx, we are seeking a Breast Imaging Tracking Specialist to join our team. This is an administrative support role within our diagnostics department that tracks all data related to breast imaging reports/results and logs recommendations. The position ensures that all BI procedures have been performed and that consult reports are logged with ECW and PenRad Software. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Related administrative experience working with data and reporting, knowledge of electronic health records and managing patient data
  • Ability to navigate software and Microsoft Office. 
  • Bilingual Spanish/English Required. 

Key Duties:

  • Tracks all breast imaging reports/results and logs reported recommendations for follow-ups, biopsy, additional procedures.
  • Generates and mails result letters to patients.  
  • Assists patient care specialist in obtaining biopsy pre-authorizations if needed.
  • Assists and prioritized notifying referring clinician of abnormal results from imaging, biopsy, etc. 
  • Administrative duties and assignments as related to the position.
